Chihiro Isozaki

Chihiro Isozaki currently serves as Counsel in the Democracy Program at the Brennan Center for Justice, focusing on federalism and state constitutional law, and is also an Adjunct Professor at New York University School of Law, co-teaching a seminar on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Prior experience includes roles as a Litigation Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, where responsibilities encompassed complex civil litigation and a significant pro bono practice, and as a Cleary Gottlieb Legal Fellow at the Public International Law & Policy Group, providing legal assistance in global peace negotiations. Isozaki has also worked as a Researcher at the Meltzer Center for Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, and held various summer associate positions, including advising the United Nations' Permanent Mission of Nauru on foreign diplomacy. Educational background includes a JD from New York University School of Law and a BA from Yale University.
