Meghan Lapidus, CHRP has extensive experience in human resources. Meghan is currently employed as the Senior Director of Human Resources at Brenntag since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Gesco Group of Companies where they held several roles. Meghan served as the Vice President of Human Resources & Payroll from December 2021 to April 2023, overseeing talent acquisition, performance, and employee experience for a dispersed workforce of 375+. Before that, they were the Director of Human Resources & Payroll from May 2018 to December 2021, managing a team of 4 HR professionals and leading recruitment, performance evaluation, and workforce planning activities. From May 2016 to May 2018, they served as the National Human Resources Manager, responsible for recruitment, employee relations, and performance management across multiple locations. Prior to their time at Gesco Group of Companies, Meghan worked as a Human Resources Coordinator and Assistant at Shnier, Gesco Limited Partnership from 2010 to 2016. In these roles, they focused on recruitment, staff planning, and training and development. Before entering the field of HR, Meghan worked as a Customer Service Representative at various companies from 2004 to 2010 and at The Shopping Channel from 2006 to 2008. Throughout their career, Meghan has demonstrated strategic leadership and a strong focus on maintaining a high-performing and service-driven HR team.

Meghan Lapidus, CHRP, holds a Diploma in Human Resources Management from Sheridan College, completed in 2013. Meghan has also obtained several certifications, including the Diversity & Inclusion Certificate Program from HRPA, the Insights Discovery Client Practitioner certification from Connecting Colours, and the Human Resources Law for Human Resources professionals certification from Osgoode Professional Development. Additionally, Meghan holds certifications in Mental Health First Aid, Workplace Investigations Training, Advanced Human Resources Law, Leadership Training, Maximizing Leadership Impact with Emotional Intelligence, Managing Conflict in the Workplace, and Developing Your Leadership Potential. Meghan is also pursuing the PCP Designation from CPA Ontario.
