Pierre Claeys

Pierre Claeys has extensive work experience at Brenntag, where they held various roles and positions over the years. Pierre began their tenure at Brenntag in 2008 as the Sales and Marketing Manager Distribution at Brenntag N.V. Pierre then transitioned to Brenntag N.V. as the Sales & Marketing Director and worked there for a few months in 2014. In 2014, they joined Brenntag as the COO of Brenntag Benelux and held this position until 2017 when they were promoted to President of Brenntag Benelux. In 2021, they became the President of Brenntag Essentials Benelux and, in 2024, assumed the role of President of Supply Chain Services BES EMEA.

Pierre Claeys has a diverse education history. Pierre earned a Master's degree in Business Sciences from KU Leuven between 1997 and 1999. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Chemistry, receiving an Ind. Ing. degree from Provinciale Industriële Hogeschool Kortrijk from 1983 to 1988. Later, they pursued further education and obtained an MBA from Vlerick Business School from 2000 to 2002.
