Joe Newton

Joe Newton is an experienced football analyst with a strong background in performance analysis across various clubs and organizations. Currently serving as the First Team Analyst at Brentford Football Club since September 2019, Joe previously held the role of First Team Performance Analyst at The New Saints Football Club from June 2017 to September 2019, where performance data was provided based on game and training session analyses. Joe began the analytical journey at FAW Trust in October 2014, progressing from a supporting analyst to the lead analyst role. Joe's career in football started as an Apprentice Footballer at Tranmere Rovers before becoming a professional at Wrexham AFC Limited, during which education was pursued in sports science. Joe holds a Master of Philosophy in Performance Analysis from the University of Chester and a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Science from Wrexham University.
