Michael Adesida has a diverse work experience in the football industry. Michael started their career at AIM HIGHER FOOTBALL ACADEMY LIMITED as a football coach from June 2009 to December 2012. Michael then worked at Charlton Athletic Football Club as an academy scout from March 2013 to November 2013, followed by a role as a foundation phase academy coach from November 2013 to July 2015. Michael joined Arsenal F.C in September 2017 as a youth scout until September 2019. Michael then moved to The Football Association as a player insights talent reporter from January 2020 to July 2021. After that, they joined Chelsea Football Club as a youth recruitment regional lead from July 2021 to February 2023. Currently, they are working at Brentford Football Club as the academy head of recruitment as of January 2023.
Michael Adesida received a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Science from Middlesex University, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. Michael later pursued a Master's Degree in Performance & Analysis in Sports at Middlesex University from 2020 to 2021.
