Paul Whelan

Paul Whelan currently serves as the Academy Head of Operations at Brentford Football Club, a role held since October 2022. Prior to this position, Whelan was a Junior Development Manager at Art-Invest Real Estate from February 2022 to October 2022, where responsibilities included working within a private partnership focused on real estate investment and development across key European cities. Earlier experience includes an Associate position in the Real Estate Strategy team at Goldman Sachs from July 2016 to February 2022, a Senior Analyst role focused on delivering a new headquarters in London, and an Analyst position at Oaks Consultancy advising sports organizations on commercial strategies. Whelan also held roles at Norwich City Football Club and Dagenham & Redbridge FC, focusing on player recruitment for youth academies. Educational qualifications include a BA in Geography from the University of Oxford and a Master’s Degree in Real Estate from Cass Business School.
