Kirsten Walker

Kirsten Walker currently serves as a Special Education Teacher at Brentwood Union School District since July 2021, following a role as an Education Specialist for Moderate/Severe disabilities at San Ramon Valley Unified School District. Previous experience includes working as a Staffing Consultant at Beacon Hill Staffing Group and serving as a barista at A.S. Chico, where strong communication skills were utilized to deliver quality customer service. Kirsten began a career in public safety as a Lifeguard 1 at East Bay Regional Park District, earning the “Returning Lifeguard of the Year” award in 2013. Additionally, Kirsten provided job coaching support at Dreamcatchers Empowerment Network. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and a credential in Moderate to Severe Disabilities, both from Brandman University, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from California State University, Chico.
