Paul Pena

Paul Pena is a Family Physician at Amwell Medical Group since May 2019 and serves as an Attending Physician at Brevard Health Alliance, Inc. since September 2020, following a prior role as an Attending Physician at Hudson River HealthCare, Inc. from August 2017 to August 2020. Additionally, Paul has contributed as a Community Volunteer at El Museo del Barrio and Brooklyn Museum from 2016 to 2020 and participated in residency at North Shore-LIJ Health System from June 2014 to June 2017. Paul's research experience includes work at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, focusing on the apoptotic function of p53, as well as roles at Research Foundation of SUNY Stony Brook and Columbia University, emphasizing bone morphology and clinical studies. Paul received a Doctor of Osteopathy from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and holds a Master's in Biomedical Engineering from Stony Brook University, along with a Bachelor's in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Columbia University.
