Mohamed Abedelmalik

Mohamed Abedelmalik has a wealth of work experience in a variety of fields. Mohamed began their career in 2014 as a Cancer Research Internship at Indiana University School of Medicine. In 2016, they were a Machine Learning Research Intern at Purdue University. Mohamed then held an internship as a Machine Learning Intern at Microsoft in 2017, during which they created an image segmentation service for Bing Images using convolutional neural networks. Mohamed also held an internship as a Technical Analyst Intern at Reciprocal Ventures in 2017. In the same year, they were the Executive Director & Co-Founder of the Columbia Blockchain Lab, where they started the lab in an effort to create a collegiate blockchain community in New York City. In 2018, they returned to Microsoft as a Software Engineering Intern. In 2019, they held two positions: Software Engineer at Microsoft and Head of Seattle Chapter at Columbia Venture Community. Currently, they are the Co-Founder & CEO of Brevy.

Mohamed Abedelmalik attended The Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities from 2013 to 2015, where they earned a High School degree. Mohamed then attended Columbia University from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Mohamed also participated in the S20 program at Y Combinator.
