Karl Smyth

Karl Smyth currently serves as an Investment Management Assistant at RBC Brewin Dolphin, a position held since December 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Sustainability Consultant with the York & North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership from January to March 2020, and a Digital Marketing Specialist at Vodafone during the summer of 2019. Additionally, Karl contributed to York Community Consulting from January 2018 to May 2019 in multiple capacities including Strategy Partner, Project Manager, and Consultant. An experience as a Chef at Adventure Ardeche was undertaken in summer 2018, and an Analyst role in the Bank of England 2.0 Challenge was completed in late 2016. Karl holds a PGDip in Urban Planning: Green Infrastructure and Landscape Planning from Newcastle University and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Management from the University of York.
