Timothy Miller

Timothy Miller is an academic professional with significant experience in history education and curatorial work. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of History at Brewton-Parker College since August 2021, Timothy previously held the position of Curator at Abingdon Abbey from September 2017 to August 2021. Timothy also contributed as a Transcriber for The Newton Project from June 2015 to January 2021, focusing on digitizing the papers of Isaac Newton for online access. Early career experience includes working as Counter Staff at Toolstation from November 2015 to September 2017, assisting customers in finding building supplies, and serving as a Test Prep Tutor for world history and U.S. history at Rockdale County Public Schools from January 2013 to May 2015. Timothy holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in History from the University of Oxford and the University of Sussex, as well as a Master of Arts (M.A.) in History from Georgia State University.
