Joel Baroody

Joel Baroody is the current Head of Recruiting at Brex. Joel has over 4 years of experience in recruiting, with a focus on building engineering teams. Prior to Brex, Joel was with Uber, where they led a team of 45 Recruiters and Sourcers responsible for hiring world-class leaders, engineers and domain experts to Uber. Joel has also worked with Nest, where they were responsible for full-cycle recruiting focused on building engineering teams, management of talent acquisition related initiatives, programs and projects, and executive searches.

Joel Baroody studied political science and communications at the University of California, Davis. Joel holds a BA from the school.
