Courtney Avery

Courtney Avery serves as the Head of Executive Recruiting at Atlassian, leading the global Executive Search function since June 2025. Prior to this role, Courtney was the VP and GM of Talent Acquisition Delivery at Xero, where responsibilities included overseeing a high-performing Talent Acquisition organization and managing recruitment strategy across multiple regions. Previous experience includes serving as the Global Head of Talent for Product & Technology at Xero and the Senior Leadership Recruiting Manager at Meta, where focus was on partnership with product and design executives to enhance recruiting effectiveness. Courtney's career began at Google, where roles included Senior Business Operations and Strategy Recruiter and Diversity Recruiting Channels Lead. Courtney holds a Master's degree in International Policy Studies from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey and a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Notre Dame de Namur University.
