Maria Mccarthy

Maria McCarthy is a Curatorial Associate at BRIC (Arts & Media in Brooklyn) since March 2022 and a Research Assistant at Hutchinson Modern & Contemporary since August 2021, where responsibilities include preparing text for press releases and social media for various solo exhibitions. Previously, Maria served as a Class Agent for the Senior Class Gift Campaign at Bowdoin College and participated in the Curator Search Committee at Bowdoin College Museum of Art, where duties involved candidate evaluation and interview preparation. Additional experience includes interviews and evaluations for prospective students at Bowdoin's Office of Admissions, internships at the Whitney Museum of American Art and SculptureCenter, and earlier roles at various galleries. Maria holds a BA in Art History from Bowdoin College and has completed coursework in Business Analytics, Economics for Managers, and Financial Accounting through Harvard Business School Online.
