Shannon started their career as an IT Program Manager for the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington D.C. from 2002 to 2006. From 2008 to 2009, they were an IT Business Analyst III/Manager at Raymond James. Following that, they were a Business Intelligence Principal at Gerdau Ameristeel from 2009 to 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they were the Director of Requirements Management at NII Holdings, Inc. and the Director of Requirements and Testing at Freddie Mac MHA-Compliance from 2010 to 2012. From 2012 to 2016, they were a Senior Project Manager Smart Grid at Duke Energy Corporation and a Senior Manager - Program Management at PODS. Since 2016, they have been the Chief Executive Officer of Brick Street Farms.
Shannon O'Malley obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA from the University of Pittsburgh in Finance and Financial Management Services. Shannon then went on to obtain an MBA and an MIS from Carlow University in Business Administration and Information Sciences: Software Engineering, respectively. Shannon also holds a Certified Business Analysis Professional certification from CBAP Essentials.
