Pippa Hammond

Pippa Hammond is currently the Director of Operations at Bricklane. Prior to that, they were the Head of Business Operations at Trussle from January 2017 to December 2019. In their role at Trussle, Pippa was responsible for the recruitment, strategy and management of multiple central operations teams including Heads of functions. Pippa also oversaw the company's organizational scaling from 25 to 110 people over 18 months.

Pippa is experienced in company legal counsel and has a background in finance and accounting. Pippa has also advised on M&A and Series B equity capital fundraising rounds led by Goldman Sachs. In addition, they have experience in HR operations including employment law, business partnering, full set up and running of EMI option plan / payroll / pension schemes and accounting, roll out of company policies and processes, implementation of visa sponsorship, dispute management and all aspects of employee life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development and offboarding.

Pippa's experience in regulatory supervision, governance and programme development within an innovative and disruptive fintech startup makes their uniquely qualified for their current role at Bricklane.

Pippa Hammond has a degree in Modern & Medieval Languages from the University of Cambridge, a Graduate Diploma in Law / Accelerated LPC/LLB from the College of Law, and a Storia dell'Arte. Erasmus Scholarship from Università degli Studi di Firenze.
