Bricks 4 Kidz
Barbara Wood serves as a Lead Teacher at Powhatan County Public Schools since June 2022 and continues in the same role at Chesterfield County Public Schools, where responsibilities focus on instructing fourth grade English Language Learners in a Title 1 setting. With extensive experience in early childhood and elementary education, previous roles include teaching prekindergarten and providing technical assistance and training to child care providers. Barbara Wood has also contributed to educational programs by hosting STEAM activities through Bricks 4 Kidz. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Educational, Instructional, and Curriculum from Concordia University-Portland and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Longwood University.

Our programs provide an extraordinary atmosphere for students to build unique creations, play games, and have loads of fun using LEGO® bricks. The activities are designed to trigger young children’s lively imaginations and build their self-confidence. Children work with exciting themes such as machines, outer space and mosaics.
