Grant Douglas has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Grant started their career at Deloitte, where they held various roles including Audit Manager and Director of Assurance & Advisory. In 2011, they joined Brickworks Building Products and worked their way up, starting as a Finance Manager on the East Coast and eventually becoming the Group Chief Financial Officer. During their time at Brickworks, they also held positions such as Group Vice President Finance and Executive Vice President Finance for the North America region. Grant has a strong background in financial management, team leadership, and strategic decision-making.
Grant Douglas has a diverse education history. Grant obtained the degree of Chartered Accountant (Australia) from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Grant also completed an Executive Education program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2016, specifically focusing on The Emerging CFO: Strategic Financial Leadership. Furthermore, they earned a Hons BCompt degree in Accounting from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, which they pursued from 1998 to 2001. Grant Douglas also holds the certification of Chartered Accountant (Zimbabwe) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Zimbabwe. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained several additional certifications, including Graduate Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and Justice of the Peace (JP) NSW from the NSW Department of Attorney General and Justice.
