Rebecca Carter

Rebecca Carter is a highly experienced data scientist with a diverse background in building and leading data teams across various industries. Currently serving as a Data Scientist at Bridge, Rebecca is responsible for establishing the data function from the ground up, including the development of an enterprise data warehouse and machine learning applications. Prior to this role, Rebecca was the Head of Data Science at Gusto, where leadership of a team of up to 50 professionals focused on deriving insights and deploying models to enhance business operations and customer service. Rebecca's earlier experience includes significant analytical roles at eBay, managing data science teams and applying advanced analytics to inform decision-making, as well as engagements with McKinsey & Company in operational improvement within healthcare. Rebecca holds a PhD in Evolution and Cognition from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Anatomy from Cornell University.
