Precilla Cabugao has a diverse work experience in the field of social work and healthcare. Precilla started their career as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Windsor Gardens: The Ridge Rehabilitation Center, where they provided patient care and maintained chart accuracy for five years. Precilla then worked as a Volunteer Department Intern at Central Coast VNA & Hospice, where they informed and referred clients to services, completed HR documents, and handled confidential information. Later, they served as a Training Manager at ReachPoint Home Care & Resources Inc., overseeing training programs. Subsequently, Precilla worked as a Social Services Coordinator at Amberwood Gardens, participating in community planning and discharge planning, among other duties. Precilla later joined Kindred Healthcare as a Sub-acute Social Worker. Precilla gained experience as a Social Work Intern at New Directions, providing intensive case management and crisis intervention for clients with complex psychosocial issues. Precilla then worked as a Mental Health Therapist Intern at Gardner Health Services, offering counseling and treatment services to patients and their families. Currently, they are employed as a Medical Social Worker at Bridge Home Health & Hospice, where they assist patients and their families in understanding medical recommendations, helps them access community resources, and supports them in overcoming personal and environmental difficulties.

Precilla Cabugao's education history is as follows:

Precilla started their educational journey at Dominican College, where they completed their high school education from 2004 to 2006. Precilla then transferred to Everett Alvarez High School and graduated in 2007. Afterward, they attended Salinas High School for a year, completing their high school education in 2008.

In 2008, Precilla enrolled at Hartnell College, where they pursued their Associate's Degree in Natural Sciences. Precilla studied there until 2011, completing their degree.

Continuing their education, Precilla attended California State University, Monterey Bay, from 2011 to 2014, and earned their Bachelor's Degree in Collaborative Health & Human Services.

In 2016, Precilla furthered their studies and obtained a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from California State University - East Bay. Precilla attended the university for a year, completing their degree in 2017.

Precilla's educational journey took a turn towards social work when they pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at San Jose State University from 2019 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Precilla also obtained several certifications. In 2010, they became a Certified Nursing Assistant through the California Department of Public Health. Precilla also received certifications in Mental Health First Aid USA from the National Council for Behavioral Health in 2014, California Medication Aide Training from Care and Compliance Group, Inc in 2012, CPR/BLS AED from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in 2021, First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor from the American Red Cross in 2016, and Adult First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross in 2015.
