Shashi Velath

Shashi Velath is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability, social impact, and strategic advisory roles. Currently serving as a Sustainability & Strategy Advisor at Vaidyuthi Mobility, Shashi plays a key role in advancing India’s electric vehicle market with innovative, patent-protected technologies. As a co-founder and executive director of the Bridge Institute, Shashi focuses on building inclusive societies through systemic collaboration to tackle global challenges. In other ventures, Shashi founded the SDG ChangemakerLab@School to empower educational communities towards sustainable initiatives, and held leadership positions in various organizations, including Ashoka and Asar Social Impact Advisors, emphasizing social entrepreneurship and strategic consulting. Shashi holds a Wolfson Media Fellowship in Conflict Resolution from the University of Cambridge, an Associate Coach certification, and a Master of Arts in International/Global Studies from Jadavpur University.
