Gail Slaughter has over 30 years of work experience in the legal field. Gail currently serves as the General Counsel at Bridge Philanthropic Consulting since October 2016. Prior to that, they worked at Mercedes Benz USA for 11 years as an Associate General Counsel. In this role, they had a diverse range of responsibilities including overseeing outside counsel, managing eDiscovery and information governance, drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, and providing legal counsel on various topics. Before joining Mercedes Benz, Gail worked as a Senior Associate Attorney at McCusker, Anselmi, Rosen & Carvelli from 2000 to 2005, and as an Attorney at Pitney, Hardin, Kipp & Szuch from 1996 to 2000. Gail began their legal career at Glickman & Hughes, LLP as an Attorney from 1990 to 1993. Gail has extensive experience in litigation, contract law, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.

Gail Slaughter has an extensive education history. From 1987 to 1990, they attended South Texas College of Law Houston, where they graduated with a Juris Doctorate with Magna Cum Laude honors. Prior to that, from 1978 to 1979, they pursued a Master's degree in Education at the University of Florida. Gail's undergraduate studies were also completed at the University of Florida from 1975 to 1978, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Education.
