Jacob Irwin

Jacob Irwin is an accomplished professional in the biopharmaceutical field, currently serving as the Director of Process Development at BridgeBio since October 2019, after previously holding the role of Associate Director and Senior Scientist focused on AAV-based gene therapy. With a strong foundation in downstream process development and cGMP manufacturing support, Jacob also has experience in therapeutic protein purification at KBI Biopharma and vaccine supply chain management at Merck. Additionally, Jacob developed a successful personal finance blog and holds multiple degrees, including a PhD and MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia, along with dual Bachelor's degrees in Biological Engineering and Finance from the University of Arkansas.
