Margaret Yandell-Zhao is a highly experienced professional in the field of intellectual property and patents, currently serving as Director of Intellectual Property and Patents at BridgeBio since September 2020, after progressing through roles such as Senior Patent Agent and Patent Agent. Prior to BridgeBio, Yandell-Zhao was a Patent Agent at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati (2017-2020) and a Technology Specialist at Clark+Elbing, LLP (2014-2016). Academic experience includes a role as Graduate Student Researcher at UC Berkeley under Professor Daniel Neumark and as a Graduate Student Instructor, teaching chemistry laboratories and advanced physical chemistry. Earlier teaching experience was gained as a Teaching Assistant at UC San Diego, and Yandell-Zhao began an academic journey as an Undergraduate Researcher studying aerosol chemistry. Yandell-Zhao holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from UC Berkeley and a B.S. with Honors in Chemistry from UC San Diego.
