Rhys Goode

Rhys Goode serves as a County Borough Councillor for Nantymoel with Bridgend County Borough Council since May 2022, representing the Labour and Cooperative Party. In this role, Rhys has held cabinet positions focusing on Housing, Planning & Regeneration, as well as Wellbeing & Future Generations, covering areas such as homelessness, equalities, and cultural affairs. Prior to this, Rhys was the Head of Terrence Higgins Trust Cymru and held various communications and public policy positions, including Corporate Communications & Public Policy Director at Klarna and Director of Communications at JustGiving. Rhys has experience in political advisory roles with the European Parliament and The Labour Party, along with a strong educational background that includes an MBA from Cardiff University and a BA in History from the University of East Anglia.
