Brian DeBroff, MD, FACS, is a distinguished academic and clinical leader in ophthalmology with extensive experience at Yale University School of Medicine since 1994. Currently serving as Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Science, Chief of Cataract and Comprehensive Eye Service, and Vice Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology, DeBroff has also held the role of Residency Program Director and been recognized with Teaching Awards in both 1998 and 2008. In addition to positions at Yale New Haven Hospital and other organizations, DeBroff is the Chief of Ophthalmology at Yale New Haven Health and has contributed to the field as Editor in Chief for Advances in Ophthalmology & Visual System. A managing partner at Eye Surgery Associates, DeBroff also serves as Chief Scientific Advisor for Farkas Eye Black and has a notable media presence, including features on ESPN. Educational accomplishments include a Doctor of Medicine from Tufts University School of Medicine and a Certificate in Executive Management from Yale School of Management.
