Gina Smith has extensive experience in community health management and research, currently serving as the Manager of Community Health at Bridgeport Hospital since January 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing the Community Health Needs Assessment and the hospital-wide Community Health Implementation Plan. Prior to this role, Gina worked as a Research Associate at Griffin Hospital, coordinating the Valley Initiative to Advance Health and Learning in Schools, and as a Research Associate II at Yale University, supervising the National Children’s Study. Gina also contributed as a Faculty Member at the University of Phoenix, teaching an online course on health and wellness topics.
