Bridges International
Alex Cárdenas has a diverse professional background with significant experience in both campus and administrative roles. Currently serving as Campus Field Staff and previously as Campus Field Intern at Bridges International since October 2016, Alex has also held positions as System Administrator at San Jacinto College and completed a Human Resources Internship at the EEOC. Additionally, roles as Administrative Assistant and Academic Support Assistant were undertaken at the University of Houston from April 2013 to February 2015. Alex holds two Bachelor's degrees in Management Information Systems and Human Resources Management from the University of Houston, along with an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from San Jacinto College.

The United States is home to nearly 1,000,000 international students and visiting scholars. It’s no stretch of the imagination to predict that many of the world's next generation of business, political and academic leaders will emerge from this elite group. Bridges International is a non-profit organization that exists to help serve and mobilize the international student population in the USA and abroad.
