Jose J Arana

Jose J Arana has extensive experience in IT and manufacturing, currently serving as the Director of IT Manufacturing at Bridgestone Europe, Middle East & Africa since April 2007, focusing on Smart Factory Transformation across EMEIA. This role involves overseeing a team of over 100 and implementing advanced technologies such as MES and digital shop floor solutions. Previously, Jose held roles including Program Manager for HRIS and IT Service Owner for Business Operations, managing initiatives in HR transformation and SAP ERP service delivery respectively. Earlier experience at Bridgestone from 1995 to 2005 included leading the implementation of SAP projects and coordinating eCommerce solutions across multiple European countries. Jose holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Deusto and further studied at Lund University.
