Jan Steinmetz

Jan Steinmetz serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Bridgestone Americas, Inc. since December 2015, overseeing human resources strategy and operations. Prior to this role, Jan held various leadership positions at Shell from 1999 to 2014, including Vice President of Special Projects for Upstream Americas, where Jan led an organizational review that enhanced efficiency and accountability, and Vice President of Human Resources for several divisions, supporting large teams in the heavy oil sector and downstream commercial operations. Jan completed a Master of Business Administration in Labor and Industrial Relations and a Bachelor of Business Administration in the same field at the University of Iowa.
