Berkan Gunel

Berkan Gunel is an experienced professional in commercial analytics and product management, currently serving as the Director of Commercial Analytics and Insights at Bridgewater Associates since June 2017. As the founder and leader of this group, Berkan provides vital data-backed insights to the firm's commercial leaders. Previously, Berkan was the Lead Product Manager for Bridgewater's client-facing portfolio analytics and stress testing tool. Prior experience includes serving as Associate Director at NewOak Capital and Project Engineer at Ark Construction Co., where involvement centered around construction and project management. Berkan began the career with an internship at Arup.
