Kate Yuan

Kate Yuan is a Senior Investment Engineer at Bridgewater Associates, having progressed from an Investment Engineer and previously served as an intern in the summer of 2019. Kate's experience includes a machine learning engineer internship at Microsoft and a technology analyst internship at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where significant improvements in e-trading pricing processes were achieved through enhanced concurrency logic in Java. Additional internships at Nasdaq and Northrop Grumman focused on developing algorithms in Python for portfolio construction and unmanned aircraft control, respectively. Kate began a research career as an undergraduate researcher at the MIT Department of Physics and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
