Sian Beilock

Sian Beilock is an outside director on Bridgewater’s Operating Board of Directors. She joined the Internal Board as an Independent Director in July 2021. Sian is President-elect of Dartmouth College and currently serves as the eighth President of Barnard College at Columbia University.

As President of Barnard College, she has responsibility for all aspects of the College, including establishing and carrying out the College’s strategic vision, budget, and fundraising, as well as faculty, students and staff. Since becoming Barnard’s President in July 2017, Sian has led the College to record fundraising and the most selective and diverse student body (nearly half identify as women of color) in its 132-year history.

Prior to her appointment as President, Sian spent twelve years at the University of Chicago where she was the Executive Vice Provost, an officer of the university, and the Stella M. Rowley Professor of Psychology.
