Naomi Syz is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Vice President of Product Strategy for both Private Equity Partners and Hedge Fund Solutions at BlackRock since August 2018, after progressing from the role of Product Specialist in Hedge Fund Solutions. Additionally, Naomi has been a mentor at Bridging Barriers since September 2022. Prior to BlackRock, experience includes roles as Associate Investment Specialist and Business Development Executive at Aberdeen Asset Management from July 2013 to July 2018, as well as a brief stint in work experience at the same company in 2012. Naomi Syz holds a Bachelor of Arts in German and History of Art from the University of Bristol and completed a year abroad in German Linguistics and Literature at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Educational background also includes an International Baccalaureate from The Godolphin and Latymer School.

Bridging Barriers is social mobility charity supporting young people aged 16-25 to achieve career success through mentoring, virtual masterclasses and networking events. With mentoring at the forefront of what we do, we give young people access to professionals who empower them with the soft and hard skills needed to thrive. Our virtual masterclasses and networking events complement the mentoring, allowing young people to build employment networks to strengthen access to opportunities.
