Brian Li

Brian Li has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Brian is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Briefly, where they provide back-office services for three law firms. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Financial Officer at North Central University, a role they held from July 2019 to December 2021. Brian also served as the Men's Soccer Head Coach at the same university from July 2018 to May 2021.

Before joining North Central University, Brian worked at Target, where they held various roles in finance. Brian served as a Senior Manager in Finance from March 2016 to May 2018, a Project Manager in Finance from June 2015 to March 2016, a Lead Financial Analyst in Merchandise Finance from April 2013 to June 2015, and a Senior Financial Analyst in Target Canada from October 2011 to April 2013.

Prior to their time at Target, Brian worked at BMO Financial Group as an Associate in the Leveraged Finance Group from December 2008 to October 2011, and as an Analyst in the same group from June 2007 to December 2008. Brian also had an internship at Boston Scientific as a Financial Planning and Analysis Intern in 2006, and at TCF Bank as a Corporate Finance Intern in 2005.

Brian Li has an MBA from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management. Brian also holds a BSB degree in Finance, Risk Management & Insurance from the same institution. In addition, they have a certification in US Soccer National D Coaching License from the U.S. Soccer Federation.
