Romain Deffains

Romain Deffains has extensive work experience in the field of software development. Romain is currently working as a Lead Backend Engineer at Brigad since March 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Backend Developer at the same company from November 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining Brigad, Romain worked at EPITECH - European Institute of Technology where they served as an Accompanying Pedagogical (APE) from September 2019 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for teaching modules on C++, Application Development, and Object-Oriented Programming to the first three-year students at Epitech Paris.

Additionally, Romain also worked as a C++ Teaching Assistant (Koala) and a C Teaching Assistant (Astek) at EPITECH from December 2017 to August 2018.

Furthermore, Romain gained valuable experience as an intern in the development department at Ministère des Armées from April 2018 to July 2018, as well as at Je Rêve d'une Maison from July 2016 to January 2017.

Romain Deffains studied at multiple institutions during their educational journey. From 2012 to 2015, they attended Lycée Louis de Broglie, where they completed their Baccalauréat in the field of Sciences. In 2015, Romain enrolled at the EPITECH - European Institute of Technology, earning a Master's degree in Computer Programming between 2015 and 2020. In 2018 and 2019, they also pursued a customized Certificate in Information Technology at Université Laval.
