Ian Gomm

Ian Gomm started their career as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Jones King Partnership in 1995, where they worked until 1997. Ian then joined WSP in the UK as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in 1997 and held that position until 2005. Ian then moved to PARSONS BRINCKERHOFF, where they worked as a Principal Mechanical Engineer from 2005 to 2007. Ian then returned to Jones King Partnership as an Associate from 2007 to 2011. Ian's next job was at WSP in the UK, where they worked as a Regional Mechanical Associate from 2011 to 2017. Currently, Ian is employed at Briggs & Forrester Group as a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, a position they have held since 2017.

Ian Gomm earned a BEng (Hons) degree in Building Services Engineering from Newcastle-upon-Tyne Polytechnic, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. In addition to their degree, they obtained the certifications of CEng from the Engineering Council in February 2005, as well as MCIBSE from the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers in January 2005.
