Tyrell Turley

Tyrell Turley is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at Brigham Young University - Idaho since August 2025, previously holding multiple engineering roles at Cricut from October 2020 to September 2025, including Senior Firmware Engineer and Advanced Firmware Engineer. Turley's experience includes serving as an Electronics Engineer in the United States Air Force, where a mixed reality flight simulator prototype was developed, and as an Embedded Engineer while self-employed, leading to a successfully filed patent. Additional roles include Electrical Test Engineer at AMET Inc. and Lab Assistant at Brigham Young University - Idaho, alongside managing a telefund team at LDS Philanthropies. Tyrell holds a Master's degree in Robotics from the University of Utah and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University - Idaho.
