Megan Johnson

Megan Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Megan began their career in 2014 as a Paraprofessional in District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS), where they utilized technology to enhance student achievement. Megan then worked as an Instructional Assistant at Excel Academy Public Charter School from 2015 to 2017, managing multicultural classrooms and implementing quality standards for improved performance. In 2018, Megan worked as an Outreach Coordinator at Promoting Practical Health, formulating intervention plans and advocating for patients' access to resources and services. Megan also served as a Lead Toddler Teacher at Bright Beginnings, Inc. in 2018, implementing developmental screenings and maintaining parent partnerships. Megan continued their work at DCPS as an Educational Aide from 2019 to 2021, project managing the Kindergarten Educational Program and implementing individualized behavioral intervention plans. In 2021, they worked as a Call Center Specialist at The Midtown Group, maintaining a high volume of calls and providing contact information and referrals.
