Eran Moscovici has extensive work experience in software engineering. Eran currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at Bright Machines since February 2019. In this role, they have played a key role in developing a scalable Data Acquisition/Analysis Platform for factory robots in the manufacturing industry. Eran has also designed and implemented RESTful microservices using Spring Boot to control and monitor the robots in real-time. With a focus on big data scalability, they used frameworks such as Spark Structured Streaming in Java for near real-time aggregation and enrichment of the robot's data. Eran has also worked on solving data synchronization challenges between on-premises and cloud environments by designing and implementing a solution based on eventual consistency. Eran integrated the AXON Framework into existing microservices to achieve a truly event-driven system. Additionally, they containerized and deployed software using Docker and Kubernetes, and followed a test-driven approach with an emphasis on testing interfaces between microservices. In their previous roles, Eran worked as a Software Engineer at Verint from June 2014 to August 2018, at Polycom from June 2011 to 2014, at eWave from January 2010 to June 2011, and as a Web Integrator at Celebros from January 2006 to January 2009.
Eran Moscovici completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2001. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biotechnology Engineering from the same university, concluding their studies in 2005. Later, Eran went on to obtain a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo in the year 2010.
