José Becerra

José Becerra has a diverse work experience in the manufacturing and automation industry. José is currently a Sr Automation Director at Bright Machines, where they lead a team in providing automation solutions for manufacturing processes. Their role includes building smart manufacturing lines and implementing smart software for machine learning and process improvement. Prior to their current position, José worked at Flex for many years, starting as a Debug and Repair Manager and progressing to various roles such as Quality Manager, Lean Manager, and Manufacturing Manager. José eventually became a Senior Engineering Director in the Automation Group, where they were responsible for driving automation implementation, developing best practices, and showcasing Flex's capabilities to new customers. Before joining Flex, José also gained experience at Sony as a Sr Application Eng. - RF Design Engineer.

José Becerra's education history includes a Master of Engineering degree in Advanced Manufacturing from CIATEQ, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Postgraduate degree in Administrative Skill from Tecnológico de Monterrey, from 2004 to 2005. Their undergraduate studies were completed at ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara, where they earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from 1992 to 1996, specializing in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
