Jorge Cancino Chacón

Jorge Cancino Chacón has worked in various roles in the engineering field since 2013. Jorge began their career at Condumex, where they were a Product/Design Engineer, Purchaser and Production Supervisor. In 2015, they joined Honeywell as an Application Engineer, where they were responsible for coordinating automation projects for 5-star hotels. In 2016, they became an MSc. Student at The University of Sheffield, researching for the Project Design of an affordable Robocaster. In 2018, they joined SAVESOLAR as Chief of Engineering, supervising and leading engineers and technicians in the development of PV projects. Jorge is currently working at Bright Inc. as a GDMT Project Manager.

Jorge Cancino Chacón completed an Msc(Res) Advanced Manufactuting Technologies in Ingeniería mecánica from The University of Sheffield between 2016 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained an Ingeniería degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México between 2007 and 2012, with a focus on Ingeniería electrónica, robótica y mecatrónica. Jorge also holds certifications from CONOCER, Honeywell, Tridium, and Six Sigma Core, Green Belt.
