Edward Chopskie, CCSP, has extensive experience in product marketing, sales enablement, and cybersecurity. Edward has held various roles throughout their career, starting in 1996 as the Vice President of Marketing at Peregrine Systems Inc., where they helped the company become a leader in IT Service Management (ITSM). Edward played a key role in the company's growth, acquisition of competitors, and eventual sale to HP in 2005.

Following their time at Peregrine Systems, Chopskie worked as a consultant at HP Autonomy, where they collaborated with the Chief Marketing Officer to improve the effectiveness of the sales approach and tools. Edward worked directly with customers and losses, reporting to Autonomy senior management on the results.

In 2006, Chopskie served as the Vice President of Marketing at Sensage, a leading provider of security information and event management (SIEM) solutions. During their tenure, the company progressed from being a niche player to a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant. Edward remained with Sensage until 2009.

After leaving Sensage, Chopskie worked as a cybersecurity sales enablement and marketing consultant at BeyondTrust, specializing in Privileged Access Management (PAM). Edward was responsible for sales enablement, competitive intelligence, channel program development, and new product launches.

In 2009, Chopskie joined Quest Software as a Business Unit Manager, overseeing various businesses within the application performance management (APM) and network management space. Edward eventually left Quest Software after being recruited by Cisco in 2010.

At Cisco, Chopskie held the role of Senior Director of Product Marketing and Management in the Cloud and Systems Management Technology Group. Edward was responsible for running all product management, pre-sales overlay, and marketing activities for Cisco's network management solutions, supporting various business sectors, including The Cloud, IP NGN, Video, and Mobility. Due to a recession, Cisco downsized, and Chopskie left the company in 2011.

In 2014, Chopskie founded EnableBoard, Inc., a sales enablement solution company based on AWS. The SaaS platform attracted customers such as VMware and Infoblox. Edward served as the Chief Executive Officer until 2018.

Chopskie then joined LJ Sales Enablement in 2012, operating as a Cybersecurity Product Marketing and Sales Enablement Consultant. Edward'srole involved creating easily understood content for sales representatives to engage in executive-level conversations with Cybersecurity and Enterprise Infrastructure Executives. Edward worked with clients such as Infoblox, VMware, and Cisco Systems.

Parallel to their professional work, Chopskie volunteered at the Air Force Association from 2019 to 2022, providing cybersecurity career mentoring for graduates through the CyberPatriot Program.

Edward Chopskie, CCSP has a diverse education history spanning multiple institutions and fields of study. Edward obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of North Florida. Prior to that, they attended the University of Florida from 1982 to 1986. Edward also earned a High School Diploma from Bishop Kenny High School in 1982.

Throughout their career, Edward has pursued additional certifications to further enhance their knowledge and skills. Edward obtained the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) certification from (ISC)² in 2022. Additionally, they acquired certifications in API Security Fundamentals, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2022 Certified Architect Associate, ITIL Executive, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, CompTIA Security+ ce Certification, NSE 3 from Fortinet, and Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. These certifications demonstrate their expertise in various areas such as cloud security, architectural design, IT service management, and network security.

Edward also participated in executive education programs at prestigious institutions. Edward completed an Executive Education program focused on Finance at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2004 and an Executive Education program in Strategic Marketing at Harvard Business School in 2000.
