Chiyo Yanagita

Chiyo Yanagita has a diverse work experience in the media and entertainment industry. Chiyo is currently working at Brightcove as the Country Manager & SVP Revenue. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Operator Relationships, Business Development at DAZN Group from 2020 to 2023.

Before joining DAZN Group, Yanagita held various positions at Twentieth Century Fox, where they worked as the Head of Digital Key Account Management, Digital Sales from 2015 to 2019.

Chiyo also has extensive experience at Jupiter Telecommunications Co., Ltd., where they held multiple roles including Group Manager, VOD Programming & Planning, Group Manager, Digital Distribution Programming, LALA TV Manager, Programming & Acquisitions, Manager, Contents Strategy, and VOD Unit Manager, Programming and Acquisitions. Their tenure at Jupiter Telecommunications spanned from 2004 to 2015.

During their early career, Yanagita worked at BB Cable Corp. as the Acquisition Manager, VOD Contents Group from 2002 to 2004, and at Pay Per View Japan, Inc. as the Manager, International Film Acquisitions from 1998 to 2002.

Chiyo Yanagita has a Master of Arts degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from Keio University. Chiyo also holds a High School Diploma from Keio Girls Senior High School. In addition to their academic qualifications, Chiyo Yanagita has obtained several certifications, including being a Prof G Certified Brand Strategist from Section4, a Prof G Certified Strategist from Prof G, and completing a course on Viral Marketing and How to Craft Contagious Content from Coursera in May 2020.
