John Sitzler has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. John started their career as a Commercial Manager at Van Egmond Group in 2000 before co-founding Typhoon Gaming Pty Limited, where they served as an Executive Director and played a key role in building and launching the world's first sports betting application on mobile phones in 2001.

After their role at Typhoon Gaming, John worked at Sensis as a Mobile Product Development Specialist and Project Manager, where they were responsible for product development and business case formulation for various mobile initiatives. John then joined Telstra as a Senior Mobile Manager, leading a team and overseeing the strategy, product development, and management of Telstra's exclusive Sport product portfolio.

Moving on, John worked at Movideo as the Director of Professional Services, where they were responsible for building the company's Professional Services business, including media consultancy, software development, and managed services. John then transitioned to independent consulting, providing advisory and product development services to various early-stage businesses.

John's next role was at Telstra, where they held multiple positions, including Global Online Video Solutions Manager and Senior Project Specialist. In these roles, they led the design, build, and delivery of AVOD and SVOD apps for the Roku Powered Telstra TV service and served as the end-to-end project lead on a Telstra Wholesale Ethernet product enhancements initiative.

Before their current position as a Director of Customer Success APAC at Brightcove, John also gained experience at Ooyala as an Account Manager and Telstra as a Senior Project Specialist. Overall, John Sitzler's work experience showcases their expertise in customer success, account management, project management, and business advisory services across a range of industries.

John Sitzler completed their VCE degree from Xavier College between 1986 and 1989. Later, they pursued their higher education at Monash University from 1990 to 1993, where they obtained a degree in Economics with a focus on Marketing and Accounting.
