Emma Stebbing

Emma Stebbing has a diverse work experience spanning a range of roles in the field of People and Culture. Their most recent position is as the Head of People & Culture at Brighte, a role they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the People Operations Lead at Brighte from September 2021 to March 2023.

Before joining Brighte, Emma worked at Optus as a People and Culture Manager from February 2021 to September 2021. Emma also held the role of People and Culture Manager at amaysim from February 2020 to September 2021, and as a Human Resources Business Partner from December 2018 to February 2020.

Earlier in their career, Emma held various positions at Genea, including HR Consultant from July 2017 to November 2018, and Recruitment & Generalist HR Officer from April 2015 to July 2017. Emma also worked as a Youth and Family Case Worker at The Junction Works Ltd from January 2014 to March 2015, and as a Drug And Alcohol Counselor at Drug ARM from March 2014 to October 2014.

Emma's early career included a role as a Pre-Marriage Relationship Facilitator at CatholicCare Sydney from January 2013 to October 2014.

Emma Stebbing completed their education in a chronological order. Emma began by earning a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) from UNSW, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. After that, they pursued further education at the Australian College of Applied Professions, where they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling. Emma attended this college from 2013 to 2015. Lastly, from 2016 to 2018, Emma completed the AHRI Practicing Certification Program at the Australian HR Institute, where they focused on Human Resources Management and Services.
