Andy Merchant

Andy Merchant has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Andy started their career at Buckeye International as a Healthcare Specialist, where they successfully managed a territory of 25-plus active accounts in the healthcare sector. Andy focused on meeting annual forecasts by acquiring new accounts and growing existing ones.

In 2012, Andy joined Zimmer Biomet as a Team Lead, specializing in the sale and consultation of joint replacement, trauma, biologic, capital, and surgical products. Andy provided technical and clinical support to orthopedic surgeons and medical facilities in Northeast Ohio, aiming to improve patients' mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Andy then transitioned to BrightEdge in 2016, where they held multiple positions. Andy started as an Account Executive, generating sales by promoting BrightEdge's SEO platform. Andy was later promoted to Senior Account Executive and then Sales Manager, demonstrating their ability to drive revenue and effectively manage a team.

In 2019, Andy advanced to the role of Senior Sales Manager at BrightEdge, showcasing their leadership skills and contributing to the company's growth. Andy continued to excel and was promoted to Director of Sales in 2021, with responsibilities including transforming online content into tangible business results using BrightEdge's AI and machine learning engine.

Currently, Andy serves as the Vice President of Sales at BrightEdge. With their vast experience in sales and leadership roles, they play a crucial role in driving the company's sales strategy and achieving business objectives.

Andy Merchant attended John Carroll University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Education.
