Sara Bennett CIHCM, BA Hons has extensive experience in the social housing sector, having worked in various managerial roles for different organizations. Sara has a strong background in delivering housing services, managing teams, and providing strategic leadership. Sara is passionate about putting people and communities at the heart of their work and has in-depth knowledge of the social housing sector. Sara holds a BA Hons in Housing Management and Development from the University of the West of England. Currently seeking new opportunities to continue their career in social housing leadership.

Welcome to Brighter Places! We are a new housing association for Bristol and surrounding areas created following the merger of United Communities and Solon South West on 1 April 2021. We manage 3,300 homes and serve more than 8,100 residents, and we have ambitious plans for our future. This is a new chapter in our proud history as a bigger, better housing association delivering excellent customer service, resident-led decision-making and developing and improving homes. We’ll play an important role in driving forward the agenda for affordable housing and stronger communities in the city and beyond.
