James Wilson

James Wilson is an experienced designer and creative director currently serving as Designer in Residence at Brighteye Ventures since November 2021. With a strong background in digital content creation for children, James co-founded Minilab Studios, where engaging content was developed in partnership with sister companies Nobrow and Flying Eye Books. Previous roles include Creative Director at BIGUMAKU LTD and Lead Digital Creative at Nobrow, focusing on digital R&D for independent publishers. Additionally, James has contributed to children's interactive media projects at Complete Control and worked with notable clients such as CBeebies, Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design (with Animation) from the University of the West of England and a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design from Winchester School of Art.
