Neil Toomey

Neil Toomey has worked in various roles in the quality and compliance field since 2011. Neil began their career as a Quality Engineer at MGS Mfg. Group in 2011, and then moved on to URS Corporation, An AECOM Company, as a Health and Safety Consultant. In 2012, they took on the role of Health Safety Environment Advisor at Ramboll, followed by Contractor Management Advisor at Maersk Oil in 2016. In 2017, they joined Burgmann Packings Group as Snr Manager Group Quality and R&D and QHSE Manager. In 2020, they moved to eir evo as a Quality and Compliance Analyst, and is currently working as Compliance Manager at Brightflag since 2022.

Neil Toomey has an extensive educational background. Neil obtained a Bachelor's degree in BA from the Waterford Institute of Technology between 2004 and 2008. Neil then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Occupational Health, Safety and Ergonomics from the University of Galway, which they completed in 2010. In 2020, they began a Graduate Diploma in Compliance at University College Dublin, which they are expected to complete in 2022. In 2021, they obtained Professional Certificates in Data Protection and Financial Crime Prevention from IOB. Neil is currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma in Data Protection Law at The Honorable Society of King's Inns, which they expect to complete in 2023.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Neil Toomey has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they obtained ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor - Quality Certification from BSI. In July 2022, they obtained an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Neil is also a Certified Data Protection Officer (cDPO) from The Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland, and an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor from Certification Europe.
